Drawing has always been a basic discipline for me. I started working in a surreal fantasy theme from the very beginning—the drawings were like a journal to me. First, I would put my everyday thoughts about life and family in my drawings in outdoor settings. Later, I started to place my figures into interior spaces. The structures were measured in mathematical perspective, and then the figures positioned within the frame. The themes are personal and often have hidden or deeper meanings beyond the playful appearance of the figures. Drawing allows me to express a range of thoughts about things I am experiencing.
